Prats & Symington Prazo de Roriz is a seriously good example of what is being produced in the Douro Valley in Portugal. 

The wine is made from a blend of traditional grape varieties, including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Barroca.

It is aged in oak barrels for up to a year, resulting in a rich, complex wine with a deep ruby color and a super smooth, velvety texture, strong flavors and a memorably elegant finish,
