One of our favourite Port Houses dating back to the 1820's and now owned by the Symington Family...
Fans of Port are aware that vintage Ports are bottled after two years but a Late Bottled Vintage spends an extra two years in wood, softening the tannin and acidity inherent in the Touriga Nationale grape. This is still not a shrinking violet but is remarkably drinkable now and will keep for the next decade and beyond.
Closures with a stopper do not need decanting which makes this a particularly useful addition to the drinks tray..
