Recently served at a dinner and with a bit of air in the glass, this wine is showing very well indeed....
It is Saint Estephe on a roll with the same wine making team as Château Montrose! Sometimes it really is worth seeking out the very best Bordeaux, Cru Bourgeois!
Served at one of our online events recently too, this undoubtedly needs some time to mature but wow! Heaps of fruit to mask some sturdy tannins and balanced acidity. I think I will keep mine a while before tapping into it but if tempted before then, a couple of hours in a decanter will work wonders...
