This is an Haut Medoc just on the wrong side of the border near Saint Estephe. It is not the old fashioned brusque and dry Claret style, but it is rather more fruit driven and packed with ripe Cabernet Sauvignon.

Once again, the magnum is the perfect size for two people provided one of them is not drinking. This 2019 Cru Bourgeois is at a great stage of it's life and ridiculously seductive...  Also available is the 2018 in bottles... and 2015 in Magnums
