Domaine Bouchard Pere et Fils, Beaune Blanc, 2019, (6x75cl) 

Bouchard have been located in Beaune since 1731 and produce some fabulous wines from the length and breadth of Burgundy. 

This wine is from a fine parcel on pebbly ground, adjoining the Beaune 1er Cru Las Aigrots so it fits perfectly into our selection process of a great wine, made just the wrong side of the fence - hence the sensible price!

8-10 months in French oak and a modest 10-15% new barrels are used. so this is not over-oaked but allowed to express the terroir and vintage. Only 2,500 bottles produced in an average harvest!
