Torbreck Old Vines GSM 2021 (6x75cl)

This wine from Torbreck is recreating a Rhone blend using old vines grown in the Barossa Valley. Probably a good comparison is a full bodied Gigondas and even some of the top Chateauneuf du Pape which are built to age...

Given the reassuringly expensive wines made by Torbreck which are named The Struie, The Steading, The Laird and their flagsxhip wine, Runrig, this wine fits beautifully into most budgets,

Torbreck is the name of a forest near Inverness and the Scottish references are all through a lumber jacking stint by the founder, David Powell in the Scottish Highlands, before returning to Barossa to plant vines.

Great value!
