Served recently at one of our dinners and truly remarkable quality from the humble appellation 'Bourgogne Blanc' but made by the excellent Domaine de Montille and from none other than the Chateau de Puligny Montrachet.
As the name suggests, this is the heart of the village and yet the Chateau's own "Clos" is just outside the boundary for Puligny Montrachet.
Once again, a stunning wine from just the wrong side of the fence
