This is one of four Chardonnays from the World famous New Zealand producer, Michael Brajkovich MW, founder of Kumeu River.

This vineyard is named after Michael's father who took the family to Auckland in 1938 and buying vineyards by Kumeu River in 1944. A lot has happened since then and this wine certainly has captured the imagination of global Chardonnay enthusiasts.

Jancis Robinson mentions amongst other things, a passing resemblance to some Corton-Charlemagnes. Long and satisfying, a wine designed to soothe sore throats. Quite a triumph; easy to see why it's the most expensive in this range.
