The Otago region only had 11 vineyards in the mid 1990s and today it has over 100 wineries, all taking advantage of the ideal growing conditions for Pinot Noir. This rapid transformation is widely reported upon by the world's critics and the pattern emerging of high quality balanced Pinot Noirs is pretty remarkable... 

We recently served the Burn Cottage Pinot Noir, 2016 at a corporate event and judging by the speed that the glasses emptied (83 people being a reasonable test market!) I would suggest snapping this up now and keeping for a couple more years, by which time the wine will undoubtedly have sold out in all markets...
